Adult Group Classes

Classes are for adults 18 years and over.

Regular adult classes are held in eight (8) week blocks.  Enrolments are open until Week 2 of every course (full price applies). Pending availability, students can join until this time.  Courses run regularly throughout the year at the same days/times and enrolments are open for the next block straight away.  We encourage students to sign-up early to avoid disappointment.

Payment in full is required prior to commencement of classes.  Please note no refunds for missed classes.

Classes are not held on Public Holidays.

In the event Penrith Ballroom Dance cancels a class for any reason, the Studio, in its sole discretion, will decide whether it is appropriate to offer a make-up class or provide a refund.

Children’s Classes

Children’s classes are held on Monday afternoons during school terms, with the dates based on the NSW Public School terms.

All participants in these classes are required to wear a uniform:

  • studio polo shirt
  • proper ballroom dance shoes
  • girls to wear a knee-length flared black skirt
  • boys to wear black trousers
  • no chunky or dangly earrings, bracelets or chains to be worn
  • hair to be off the face and neatly groomed
  • shoulder length or longer hair must be tied back

Following initial enrolment, fees will be invoiced and are due in full at the beginning of each term.

If you are having difficulty paying your account, or you have any questions relating to your child’s participation or progress, or any other queries, please contact our office.  Discussing or arranging things during lessons is not appropriate as it encroaches on the children’s valuable class time.

As overheads remain the same regardless of attendance, fees are non-refundable for classes missed, or if your child does not complete the whole term.

Young At Heart (Seniors)

Membership of U3A is essential for these classes, find out how to join U3A here https://www.u3apenrith.org.au

The fine stiletto heels for ladies are equally unsuitable. Your teacher will discuss where to purchase your ballroom shoes.

Wedding dance students are not required to wear ballroom shoes, they are encouraged to wear the shoes they will be wearing on the day. Depending on the heels of the ladies' shoes, they may be required to purchase heel protectors.
